Dog boarding for travel preparation

A crate that arrives the week of the flight is new to the dog. A stay before departure gives more time to become accustomed to spending time in it.

Enter your dates, your dog's name, contact details, transport preference and animal type. Additional stay details can be confirmed separately.

The crate, the measurements and the documents come from our sister company Pets Go Global. The stay is ours.

A dog enjoying house time on a comfy bed

What this is, in plain terms

Several weeks in a familiar boarding environment can give a dog more time to become accustomed to spending time in its travel crate.

That is what the stay offers: time, a settled routine, and the crate present as part of it. Days are spent in the fenced gardens with supervised group play, and every dog has its own bed at night.

A golden and a black lab posing together

One family, both halves of the move

Your dog stays with us in the gardens: supervised play through the day, an own bed at night, photos while you travel.

The flight, the documents, the customs clearance and the route are handled by Pets Go Global, our sister company. Same owner, same people, one conversation for the whole move.

Tell us both parts when you enquire and we arrange them together. You do not need to book twice or explain your dates twice.

On this page that means the crate itself and the measurements it has to meet come from Pets Go Global, and the stay, with the crate there as part of the routine, is ours.

What to send with your enquiry

Why a stay before departure helps at all

Nothing here is a promise about how a flight will go. It is time, and a routine the dog already knows.

Time rather than a deadline

Weeks instead of the last few days before the flight.

A settled daily routine

Gardens by day, an own bed at night, the same shape every day.

Photos during the stay

You can see how your dog is getting on while you organise the move.

Open since 2010

Dogs have been staying here before international flights for years.

Several weeks with us before flying to East Sussex, becoming familiar with their travel crates.

Questions about preparation stays

Do you train my dog to use the crate?

No. We are not a training service. The stay gives the dog more time to become accustomed to spending time in its crate, and the arrangements are agreed case by case.

So what is this stay not?

It is not formal professional dog training, not veterinary behavioural treatment, not airline approval or travel certification, and not a guaranteed crate-training programme. Crate arrangements are agreed case by case, and airline rules, crate compliance and travel documents come from Pets Go Global.

Will my dog be calm on the flight?

We cannot say that, and nobody honestly can. The stay is about time and routine, not about a guaranteed outcome.

Do you certify the crate?

No. Crate standards and airline requirements are handled by Pets Go Global, and the airline decides at check in.

How long should the stay be?

Molly and Casper stayed several weeks. What suits your dog depends on your travel timing, so send the dates and we will look at them with you.

Can my dog bring its own crate?

Crate arrangements are assessed case by case. Tell us what you have when you ask about dates.

What does the stay cost?

From $29 per night for one dog, with 10% off from 10 nights, 15% from 20 and 20% from 30.

What does my dog need before arriving?

Tick and flea treatment, given at check-in with Frontline unless you bring your own approved treatment or proof of current treatment, plus the health requirements on the main site.

Who arranges the flight?

Pets Go Global, our sister company. We provide the boarding only.
